Emotions are central to our experiences of the world. Thinking does not happen
without emotion.
Emotions play a crucial role in diverting our attention and energy. Emotions are chemicals in the
direction, which means being aware of our emotions and knowing what they are trying to tell us
about ourselves.
Emotions are our first response to a situation. That’s why our
responds to fear or surprise even before we can interpret the
situation!!

Application of Emotional Intelligence for Stress Management
Stressors exist, but they don’t always give rise to stressed people. There is something
in how we deal with stresses and pressures that moderates these.
Emotional Intelligence is the ability to be aware of our own emotions, manage them, and be
aware of the emotions of others. Hence, it plays a huge role in our ability to find out what makes
other people tick so that we can influence and persuade them to do what we want them to do.
