Shree Dhar Pandey

Senior Chief Engineer | Advisor, Strive High Pte Ltd

Shree Dhar Pandey is a highly respected senior maritime professional whose career spans more than three decades of excellence in shipboard operations, shore-based technical management, and people leadership. A graduate of the prestigious Marine Engineering Research Institute (MERI), formally known as the Directorate of Marine Engineering Training (DMET), Class of 1990–1994, he represents the gold standard of engineering professionalism shaped by strong fundamentals, discipline, and operational rigour.

With Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) since 1997, and as Chief Engineer in 2004 Shree Dhar Pandey has built a distinguished career marked by consistency, trust, and leadership. He has since sailed across a wide spectrum of vessel types, including Container Ships, Dry Bulk Carriers, Car Carriers, Semi-Container vessels, LPG carriers, VLECs, VLGCs, and Oil Tankers (VLCCs). This breadth of exposure gives him a deep, practical understanding of operational risk, safety-critical decision-making, and the realities faced by seafarers across ranks and vessel categories.

In addition to his sea-going leadership, Shree Dhar Pandey has served as a Technical Superintendent, providing him with a valuable ship–shore perspective and insight into audits, vetting regimes, compliance expectations, and the behavioural dynamics that influence safe and efficient operations. His ability to view challenges through both onshore and offshore management lenses makes his guidance especially relevant and balanced.

In recognition of his ongoing contributions to safe operations and his commitment to developing the next generation of seafarers, Shree Dhar Pandey was conferred the MOL Presidential Award 2025 (Tokyo)—a testament to his leadership, mentoring ethos, and unwavering focus on safety and professionalism.

Dr. Micha Soundria is a distinguished professor with 14 years of experience in psychological concepts, particularly Organizational Psychology, Psychometric Analysis, Stress Management, Human Resource Management, Emotional Intelligence, and Mental Well-Being. She is a pivotal board member of the Zeal Cognitive Group Forum and an advisor to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). She has a Master’s grader in Doctoral Programs at Upgrad Private Limited. Notably, Dr. Soundria is a research advisor at Bharathidasan University in Tiruchirappalli, in addition to her roles at Golden Gate University (GGU)-USA and Lincoln University-Malaysia.
