Empowering Leaders in Logistics: “Leading with Impact” Workshop with Singapore Logistics Association
At Strive-High Pte. Ltd., we believe that communication isn’t just a soft skill; it’s a leadership imperative. That belief came to life at the recent Singapore Logistics Association (SLA) event titled “Inspiring Connections: Building Bridges Between LOGWomen,” where our CEO and Founder, Ms. Preeti Dubey, had the privilege to conduct the signature workshop:
“Leading with Impact: Communication Strategies for Success.”
The session was designed to support and elevate leaders in the logistics industry, particularly women and emerging professionals, by equipping them with strategic communication tools for influence, clarity, and growth. This workshop was more than just a training, it was a movement toward redefining leadership in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
Addressing the Gender Gap in Logistics Leadership
The logistics sector in Singapore, while rapidly evolving with digital transformation and global connectivity, continues to grapple with gender imbalance in leadership. According to a 2020 industry report, only 13% of senior leadership roles in the logistics sector are held by women. The prevailing perception of logistics as labor-intensive and male-oriented has historically deterred women from entering or advancing within the field.
However, conversations like those sparked during this workshop are steadily changing that narrative.
“True impact in leadership begins with how we communicate, not just what we say. When women communicate with confidence and clarity, they transform boardrooms, supply chains, and mindsets.”
— Preeti Dubey, CEO, Strive-High Pte. Ltd.
